A low-carb keto pizza crust batter that's packed with nutrients. It will withstand any filling, even with a lot of sauce.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C, place the rack on the middle shelf.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, flaxseed flour, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and butter together until the mixture is slightly frothy.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until all the flour is included. The mass should look like a biscuit or cookie dough.
  5. Prepare two baking sheet-sized pieces of parchment paper. Place one of the pieces on the table and place the dough on top.
  6. Smooth the dough into a flat, round or rectangular tortilla, then place another piece of parchment on top and roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.6-0.8 cm.
  7. Remove the top piece of parchment and transfer the dough along with the bottom piece of parchment to a greased baking sheet. Remove the bottom piece of parchment.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the dough hardens and the edges begin to brown.
  9. Remove the base from the oven, add the filling, then bake for another 10 minutes until the filling is done.
