Korean-style green tomatoes are a savory snack with a great combination of flavors. Green tomatoes are marinated with carrots and bell peppers, the appetizer is sweet and sour, spicy, moderately spicy and juicy. It perfectly complements dishes from potatoes, meat or poultry.

  1. Cut green tomatoes into thin slices.
  2. Remove seeds from bell pepper, wash and cut into thin strips.
  3. We clean the carrots, wash them and grate them on a Korean carrot grater.
  4. We wash and dry the greens, chop not too finely.
  5. In a deep bowl, combine chopped vegetables and herbs. Add sugar and salt to this.
  6. Mix the ingredients and knead well with your hands. Add paprika, ground black pepper and coriander. Thoroughly mix vegetables with spices.
  7. Make a well in the center of the vegetable mass. We clean the garlic and rub it on a fine grater directly into the hole.
  8. Heat the vegetable oil well and pour over the garlic in a bowl.
  9. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  10. We cover the vegetable mass with a saucer and put a small load. You can put a liter jar of water. In this form, we send it to the refrigerator or a cool place for 8 hours.
  11. Marinated Korean-style green tomatoes with carrots and bell peppers are ready. We put the appetizer in a serving dish and serve it to the table.
