Today I offer a delicious and elegant puff salad made from simple and affordable ingredients - chicken fillet, carrots, pickles, eggs and green peas. As a decoration, strips of prunes are used. All components are perfectly combined with each other to taste. This salad will be a bright accent on the festive table!

  1. First of all, you need to boil the chicken fillet.
  2. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, lower the fillet there and cook for 30 minutes. To make chicken meat more tender and juicy, you can leave it in a saucepan with broth until it cools completely.
  3. Wash the carrots thoroughly and boil until tender (about 20-25 minutes after boiling water).
  4. Then drain the water, cool the carrots.
  5. Boil the eggs hard boiled (10 minutes from the moment the water boils). Cool eggs in cold water.
  6. Peel the red onion and cut into small cubes.
  7. Cucumbers also cut into small cubes.
  8. Cut the cooled chicken fillet into small pieces or simply disassemble into fibers.
  9. Peel and grate the eggs on a medium grater.
  10. Peel the boiled carrots and also grate on a medium grater.
  11. Prepare a beautiful dish for serving and start assembling the salad.
  12. Put the chicken in the first layer, grease with mayonnaise and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
  13. Next is a layer of onions.
  14. Drain the liquid from the canned peas and put it in the next layer. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  15. Then put a layer of cucumbers and grease with mayonnaise.
  16. Spread the grated eggs evenly over the cucumbers. Brush with mayonnaise and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  17. Cover the entire salad with carrots.
  18. Cut prunes into thin strips and decorate the salad.
  19. Send the salad for 1.5-2 hours in the refrigerator, then serve.
