Citrus lovers will love this salad with crab sticks, cheese and grapefruit. One has only to add sweet and sour grapefruit to the usual combination of crab sticks, eggs and cheese and put everything in layers, and the salad will acquire new colors, a festive taste and a bright, attractive appearance.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare food.
  2. Choose high quality crab sticks.
  3. Hard boil the eggs (10-12 minutes in boiling water). Then place the eggs in cold water until completely cooled. Peel off the shells of the eggs.
  4. Peel the crab sticks from the film and cut into small cubes.
  5. Peel the grapefruit. Be sure to clean the slices of white films - it is they that give the main bitterness to grapefruit. Leave three slices of grapefruit to decorate the salad, and cut the rest into slices.
  6. Eggs cut into small cubes
  7. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  8. Place a forming ring on a flat dish or plate and lay out the crab sticks in the first layer.
  9. Grease a layer of crab sticks with mayonnaise.
  10. Spread half of the grated cheese in the second layer. Top with a mesh of mayonnaise.
  11. Put grapefruit cubes on the cheese - it is juicy, so this layer can not be smeared with mayonnaise.
  12. Lay the chopped eggs on top of the grapefruit. Salt and brush with mayonnaise.
  13. Spread the remaining grated cheese on top.
  14. Carefully remove the forming ring.
  15. Place the grapefruit slices on the cheese layer, alternating them with fresh parsley leaves.
  16. Layered salad with crab sticks, cheese, grapefruit and eggs is ready. To improve the taste characteristics, I recommend additionally cooling the salad for 30-40 minutes in the refrigerator.
  17. The ingenious decision to add grapefruit to the unsweetened ingredients of the salad led to the fact that the usual appetizer acquired a sophisticated taste. The juiciness of citrus fruits perfectly complemented the rest of the ingredients.
  18. Bon appetit!
