Layered salad with squid and mushrooms

Delicious puff salad with squid, mushrooms and cheese for the festive table and not only can be prepared using this recipe! Savory, delicious, simple!

  1. Wash the mushrooms, dry them with paper towels and cut into plates. Then cut each plate in half.
  2. Pour 1 tbsp into the pan. l. vegetable oil, heat the oil and fry the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes, until cooked and the liquid evaporates. Salt mushrooms during cooking. Remove the cooked mushrooms from the heat and transfer to a plate.
  3. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
  4. Pour the remaining oil into the pan. Heat oil and sauté onion until translucent, 3-4 minutes.
  5. Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a medium grater. You can cut carrots into strips, if desired.
  6. Add carrots to the pan with onions and cook the vegetables for another 5-7 minutes, salt the vegetables to taste. Take the pan off the fire. Let the vegetables cool down.
  7. Let's boil the squid. Throw the squid carcass into boiling salted water and cook for 2.5-3 minutes. We check the readiness of the squid by piercing the meat with a skewer or knife, if they easily enter, the squid is ready. Don't overcook the squid or it will become rubbery.
  8. Then drain the water and let the squid cool down.
  9. Cut the cooled squid carcass first into rings, and then cut the rings into small pieces.
  10. We collect the salad in layers.
  11. 1st layer: squid + 1 tsp. mayonnaise.
  12. 2nd layer: champignons + 1 tsp. mayonnaise.
  13. 3rd layer: carrots with onions + 1 tsp. mayonnaise.
  14. Hard cheese on a medium or coarse grater.
  15. 4th layer: hard cheese.
  16. Decorate the salad with squid slices and dill, if desired. Bon appetit!
