Liver dishes are not only good for the keto diet, but it's the low carbohydrate content of this meat product that makes it good for the keto diet. To make a cake with liver cakes, you will need chicken liver, homemade keto mayonnaise, sour cream, an egg, simple spices and herbs.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rinse the chicken liver with running water. Grind the chicken liver in a blender or meat grinder.
  2. Add sour cream, egg, salt, pepper and flour to the liver; if using a blender, mix again. If using a meat grinder, stir the ingredients by hand in a separate bowl.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Add a thin layer of dough to the skillet. When the top is bubbling, turn the pancake over and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Set any cooked liver pancakes aside to cool to room temperature.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine chopped garlic with chopped herbs and keto mayonnaise.
  6. Start collecting the cake: the first layer is the liver pancake, the second is the sauce, the third is the pancake, etc. There should be 7-8 pancakes per cake.
  7. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator.
