Meat rolls - in my opinion a fairly easy to prepare dish, but very tasty and ideal not only for a hearty dinner, but also for a holiday table. You can use different types of meat, as well as the filling you can choose to your taste. With this dish you can probably experiment almost endlessly. I suggest you cook today very tasty pork rolls with vegetable stuffing of onions, carrots and sweet bell peppers.

  1. First, prepare the filling. Cut the onion into cubes and fry in oil for a few minutes.
  2. Then add the carrots, grated on a grater.
  3. When the carrots are almost ready, you need to add diced bell peppers.
  4. After 1-2 minutes, the vegetables can be turned off and left to cool. Now prepare the meat. Cut the pork into pieces about a little less than one centimeter thick and beat on both sides with a meat hammer, trying to make it as thin as possible. It is more convenient for me to do it through a cellophane bag to avoid unnecessary splashes.
  5. Then sprinkle each piece with salt and spices.
  6. Spread the filling on top, trying to distribute it closer to the edge.
  7. Then roll the meat into rolls and put in a greased baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle paprika on top of the meat.
  9. And spread the remaining filling.
  10. Cover the form with food foil and send in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and cook the rolls for about 20 minutes. Serve with any side dish or as a standalone dish. I served with vegetables, watering the rolls with the resulting juice.
  11. Inside the rolls are juicy, the meat is soft.
