  1. If you are making chicken meatballs, the minced meat will be dry - add butter.
  2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Chop the onion.
  3. Fry the onions and carrots in oil until golden brown. Boil the rice (not until cooked).
  4. Mix the minced meat, eggs, rice and vegetables.
  5. Sculpt meatballs with wet hands and fry them in oil.
  6. Fry until golden brown. It is not necessary until ready, because we will still be stewing them.
  7. Put the meatballs in a saucepan, fill with water, add the remaining fried vegetables and bay leaf.
  8. Simmer for 40 minutes on a lid.
