Melon and feta salad is a refreshing, low-calorie, and, surprisingly, very harmonious salad. The disadvantage of this salad is that it cannot be made in advance, it is better to make it in portions immediately before serving.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Let's prepare all the ingredients. We clean a piece of melon of the right size from the seed part, wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
  2. A piece of melon is peeled and cut into large cubes, feta into cubes half the size.
  3. This salad is more convenient to collect immediately in portions. Lettuce leaves are torn randomly and put on a plate.
  4. Put the melon cubes on top of the lettuce leaves. Sprinkle lightly with lemon juice.
  5. It is important that the lemon is ripe and not very sour, otherwise the excessive acidity of the lemon will overpower the rather neutral taste of the salad.
  6. Lay the feta on top of the melon. Sprinkle lightly with salt and ground black pepper, drizzle with a little olive oil and serve immediately. Melon and feta salad is perfect for a light and refreshing dinner on a hot summer day.
  7. Bon appetit!
