Mimosa salad is good for its simplicity and festive look. It got its name from its resemblance to mimosa flowers falling on the snow. The role of the latter is played by egg white, and the flowers are obtained from crushed yolks. For the salad you will need mayonnaise, and if you make it yourself, it will turn out even tastier.

  1. Place eggs in boiling water and cook for 7 minutes. Then cool them in cold water.
  2. Separate the proteins from the yolks, grate them on a coarse grater, grate the cheese and cold butter on a fine grater. Chop the onion.
  3. Put proteins, cheese, half of the fish in layers on a flat dish, grease with half of the mayonnaise, butter, onion, the remaining fish, grease again with mayonnaise and sprinkle with yolks.
