Mozzarella, Figs and Beans Salad

This is such a light and elegant salad "for girls", or for those with a sweet tooth, or for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine, or for gourmets ... We have not yet quite decided who it is intended for. We definitely like it!

  1. In a large saucepan, boil the beans in salted water, 2-3 minutes. Place on a sieve. Douse with ice water. Place on paper towels and pat dry.
  2. Cut the figs into 2–4 pieces. Cut the shallots into thinnest half rings. Tear the mozzarella and basil leaves into pieces by hand.
  3. Arrange the beans on serving bowls. Add prepared ingredients along with coarsely chopped hazelnuts.
  4. Whisk the vinegar, jam, and olive oil in a small jar with a lid. Salt. Season the salad. Serve immediately.
