Pakora is an Indian dish that is translated from Sanskrit as onion in spicy batter. Pacora with green onions is good for both vegetarians and those who are fasting.

  1. Sift flour together with starch, salt and pepper.
  2. Chop the green onion into long pieces, cut the onion into half rings.
  3. Add the whole onion to the flour, then add a little water and mix everything well. The content should have the consistency of a batter.
  4. Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the pakoda in it on both sides, spreading 3-4 slices with a fork. Transfer the finished pieces to a paper towel so that the glass has excess oil.
  5. Serve pakora with homemade ketchup or soy sauce.
