There is nothing easier than making pilaf with vegetables! I am sure that even meat lovers will appreciate this tasty and healthy vegetarian dish.

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly with plenty of running water.
  2. Since vegetables are cooked much faster than meat, it is better to soak rice in water for at least an hour - it will absorb moisture and "reach condition" faster;).
  3. Peel the onion and cut into cubes.
  4. Carrots - in cubes or small cubes.
  5. Pepper seeds and cut into strips or squares.
  6. Open the peas, drain the liquid.
  7. Do the same with corn.
  8. Heat a skillet with oil and fry the carrots over medium-high heat. Season with salt, sprinkle.
  9. Add onion and sauté until translucent. Put the rest of the vegetables, mix and heat. Add rice.
  10. Stick in garlic, salt, add spices. Pour in hot water - it should cover the rice by 1-2 fingers. Simmer covered over low heat until rice is tender. Stir before serving. Pilaf with vegetables is ready - bon appetit! :)
