Pork with pineapple and curry is a dish for those who want to treat themselves to a delicious taste and unique aroma of fried meat and crispy pineapple on the teeth. I decided to cook this interesting dish only because there is a pineapple. I thought that it might not work, but I did not regret it, because they ate everything quickly, my loved ones asked for supplements, but it did not turn out. Since then, I cook with stock. Some may say that chicken with pineapples is especially popular, but I can safely say that the way I cook pork, no dish can match.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. To prepare this dish, I advise you to take the meat dense, cut from the shoulder, as we will put it out. Dense pieces of meat give more flavor to the dish and more juicy. Wash the meat with running cold water and remove all white streaks and pieces of fat.
  2. Cut into pieces 2x2 centimeters. This is the best option for cooking such a dish.
  3. Put chili pepper on hot vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry it well for a minute or two. Put it aside and then lay out the pieces of meat, pre-cooked.
  4. Fry them over high heat until ruddy crust, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula. The crust will perfectly enrich the taste of meat in the future. At the end of frying, sprinkle with curry powder and mix well.
  5. Next, pour the pork into a saucepan and put on low heat, cover with a lid. Stew the meat until its own juice. If you had thawed meat, not fresh (it gives less juice), then you can add a little water.
  6. Peel an onion and wash. Then cut into half rings and fry in a pan. As soon as the onion becomes transparent, add a spoonful of sugar and mix.
  7. While the onion is simmering, peel the garlic and cut it into small pieces. We do the same with ginger. Add it all to the onion for one minute, stir and transfer to a saucepan with the pork.
  8. The meat should be simmered on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until it becomes soft and fully cooked. Then pour sour cream into it and bring to a boil, wait five minutes.
  9. At the end, spread canned pineapple, pre-cut into small cubes. Let everything simmer for another 5 minutes, but so that the pineapple retains its natural crunch. Sprinkle with salt.
  10. as a side dish to this dish you can use boiled rice or potatoes and soy sauce in addition.
  11. Bon appetit!
