To all lovers of vegetable fillings in dumplings, I want to offer this interesting recipe for dumplings with pumpkin. This is an incredibly tasty dish that pleases the eye with its bright sunny color.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl and add an egg, water and salt to it, knead the dough from these ingredients, if it is not thick enough, add a little more flour. We transfer the dough to a bowl, cover it with a towel and leave it to rest for 30-40 minutes.
  2. We wash the pumpkin, cut the peel into it and three on a coarse grater.
  3. Simmer the pumpkin in a frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil until it becomes soft. Then we transfer it to a bowl and add sugar to the pumpkin.
  4. After the dough has rested for the allotted time, we divide it into 2-3 parts and roll each one in turn into a layer no more than 2-3 mm thick. Cut out small circles from the dough with a cup.
  5. Now we put a little filling on each circle and connect the edges of the dough.
  6. Then, as expected, boil the dumplings in boiling salted water for 5-6 minutes from the moment they emerge. We serve a dish with sour cream, and for children you can pour jam on the dumplings. Bon appetit, everyone!
