I bring to your attention a salad recipe for lovers of beans and tuna. True, it is not prepared quickly, since the beans cook for a long time, but the result is worth it. Salad turns out tasty, satisfying and healthy

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soak the beans in cold water for a couple of hours. After the time has elapsed, drain the water, rinse the beans and set to cook until cooked (about 2 hours). 20 minutes before the beans are ready, add salt.
  2. While the beans are cooking, wash and clean the carrots.
  3. We cut the carrots into thin sticks.
  4. And well with my hand.
  5. Wash fresh cucumbers, wipe.
  6. We cut cucumbers into thin sticks.
  7. Let's take Chinese cabbage. (Since we didn’t have iceberg lettuce, we used it, but it tastes better with iceberg).
  8. Cut the cabbage into thin strips.
  9. We clean the onion.
  10. We cut the onion into thin half rings.
  11. We mix all the ingredients.
  12. Drain water from cooked beans and let cool.
  13. Add beans to the rest of the ingredients.
  14. Simply mash the tuna in its own juice with a fork to a state of small pieces.
  15. Add tuna to salad, season. We tried it with two dressings: low calorie olive mayonnaise sauce and soy sauce. It tastes better with mayonnaise sauce, and, it seems to me, it will be even tastier with homemade mayonnaise. As an option for another more useful dressing: mix sour cream and mayonnaise with finely chopped herbs one by one.
  16. Salad ready! Bon appetit!
