Salad with herring and potatoes

This salad is perfect not only for everyday lunch or dinner, but also for Christmas and New Year's feast. Try to cook it as soon as possible and you will see that your guests will appreciate it.

  1. Cut the cleaned herring fillet into small pieces. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut into cubes. Defrost the peas or drain the water (if canned).
  2. Prepare the sauce: in a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, finely chopped dill and lemon juice - mix well. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Put the thawed green beans on the bottom of the salad bowl, then a layer of potatoes. Cover with half of the sauce.
  4. Then put a layer of chopped red onion, a layer of herring and cover with the remaining sauce.
  5. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Decorate the salad with peas, onions and herbs. Bon appetit!
