  1. Boil the rice in 300 ml of hot water for about 12-15 minutes over medium heat. Turn off the heat and cover the container with a lid, allowing the grits to steam for about 5 minutes and absorb the remaining liquid.
  2. Put the boiled rice in a deep salad bowl and let it cool for about 20-25 minutes. After that, open the jar of canned green peas and drain the liquid from it. Put the peas in a salad bowl with rice.
  3. Peel the bell pepper, rinse it in water and cut into ribbons, then cut each ribbon into cubes and pour the pepper into a salad bowl.
  4. Add salt, ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Rinse and chop herbs: dill, parsley, cilantro, etc. Pour in the vegetable oil and gently toss the salad.
