Not a single fussy will refuse such semolina porridge - tender, airy semolina on milk looks very appetizing and unrecognizable! All thanks to the egg disguised in the porridge, the yolk of which is an alternative to butter, and the whipped egg white creates a lush consistency of semolina and stands out on the surface of the porridge with white islands!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour semolina into a saucepan or saucepan.
  2. Pour in cold milk and stir.
  3. Place the saucepan on maximum heat and, stirring continuously with a whisk, bring the milk to a boil. As soon as the milk boils, reduce the heat to a minimum and, while continuing to stir, cook the semolina for about 2-3 minutes, until it swells. Then remove the saucepan from the stove.
  4. Break the egg and separate the yolk and white into separate bowls.
  5. Add a pinch of salt to the protein, and sugar to the yolk.
  6. Using a mixer at high speed, beat first the protein and salt until a firm, stable foam, and then the yolk with sugar until creamy.
  7. Transfer the yolk-sugar mixture to the hot semolina porridge.
  8. Stir.
  9. Then add the whipped protein to the porridge.
  10. Stir, but not until smooth, but so that the protein "islets" remain.
  11. Unusual semolina porridge is ready. Arrange it on plates and serve. Additionally, semolina porridge can be flavored with berries, fruits, nuts, honey. But even without additives, it is very tasty!
