If you love seafood, then I offer you an original recipe for cooking squid cutlets in the oven. This is a great option for those who are counting calories or dieting.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First you need to pour boiling water over the squid, drain the water and clean the carcasses of films. Rinse well again.
  2. Grind the squids with a blender or meat grinder.
  3. Peel and chop the carrots.
  4. Add an egg to the resulting minced meat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add spices or fresh herbs. Mix everything thoroughly.
  5. Gradually pour flour into the minced meat so that no lumps form. In terms of consistency, the minced meat should turn out to be quite thick so that cutlets can be formed.
  6. Pour flour separately, in which you will need to roll over the already formed cutlets.
  7. Pour some oil into the pan and fry the cutlets on both sides for just a few minutes.
  8. Put the cutlets in a heat-resistant form and send to the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve squid cutlets in the oven at home with a vegetable side dish or rice.
