On a side note, for lovers of experimentation, I suggest a delicious and very simple recipe for turkey lasagna. The dish turns out to be very juicy, although less fatty than with minced pork.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. The turkey fillet must be washed, dried and minced (you can grind it in a blender).
  2. In a frying pan with a little olive oil, fry finely chopped onions until transparent.
  3. Put the minced meat on the onion and add the garlic passed through a press. Fry over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
  4. Peel and puree fresh tomatoes. Add tomato paste for a richer color (if the recipe for making turkey lasagna includes ready-made tomato sauce, then you can skip the paste) and mix well. Put in a pan with the turkey and simmer over low heat until tender, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Separately, you need to prepare the cheese filling. To do this, knead the ricotta with an egg and a pinch of salt. Add a little Parmesan and mix thoroughly.
  6. Spinach can be used fresh or frozen. It must be sent to a saucepan, pre-washed and slightly chopped, and extinguished for literally 5 minutes.
  7. At the bottom of the heat-resistant form, it is necessary to lay out a part of the minced meat and level it.
  8. Cover with lasagna leaves. If desired, this simple turkey lasagna recipe can also be supplemented with Bechamel sauce, which is used to grease the sheets.
  9. Grate mozzarella and divide into 3 parts. Put one on top of the leaves.
  10. The next layer will be the cheese filling, which will also be smoothed over the entire surface.
  11. Distribute spinach or other vegetables to taste.
  12. Repeat all layers in the same sequence. Cover the top with grated Parmesan and send to the preheated oven for at least 40 minutes. To prevent the top from burning, the mold can be covered with foil. When the turkey lasagna at home is ready, remove the foil and brown the crust for another 5 minutes.
