Turkish scrambled eggs, called Menemen by the Turks, are quick and easy to cook. But it looks spectacular and tastes very good!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour finely chopped onion into a preheated frying pan. fry it over medium heat until transparent, then add bell pepper, also finely chopped.
  2. While the onions and peppers are being cooked, you need to remove the peel from the tomatoes (if you throw them in boiling water for a couple of minutes, it will be easier to remove the peel), and grind them through a sieve, and then add to the pan.
  3. Boil the vegetables a little so that there is not too much water, then add the eggs, beaten with a whisk. Mix everything.
  4. At the very last moment, add salt and pepper, mix again and put on a plate. Sprinkle with paprika or herbs on top.
