There are only three ingredients in the basis of pasta and cottage cheese, but thanks to an interesting method of preparation, the dish turns out to be very similar in taste and texture to macaroni and cheese. Such pasta is prepared in one pan - it turns out simply, quickly and on a budget!

  1. Prepare the items on the list.
  2. Pasta is best to choose small.
  3. The fatter the cottage cheese, the better. I have cottage cheese with a fat content of 5%.
  4. Boil about 150 ml of water in a frying pan, salt.
  5. The proportion of pasta and water is approximately 1:1.5 (for every 100 g of pasta - 150 ml of water).
  6. Add pasta to boiling water and bring to a boil, stirring.
  7. Reduce heat to medium and cook pasta, stirring occasionally, for about 4 minutes. Pasta will not cook completely, it will only become softer, and the water will almost boil away.
  8. Add cottage cheese to the pan, directly to the pasta with the remaining water.
  9. Cook the pasta and cottage cheese, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes. When the cottage cheese is mostly melted and excess liquid has evaporated, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover and, stirring occasionally, bring the pasta to readiness, about 1-2 more minutes.
  10. Pasta with cottage cheese is ready. Transfer them to a plate and, if desired, sprinkle with chopped dill and ground pepper.
  11. Serve the pasta hot, while the melted cottage cheese stretches appetizingly with “threads”.
  12. (This dish can also be made sweet by adding 2-3 tablespoons of sugar without a hill and mixing well.)
