According to Wikipedia, this unsurpassed bright salad appeared half a century ago. And the name, of course, comes from the resemblance to the tiny flowers of bright yellow mimosa. Mimosa salad (recipe in Ukrainian), like Olivier, herring under a fur coat, Napoleon cake is an unsurpassed classic of Soviet times.

  1. Boil potatoes, carrots, and eggs.
  2. Grate potatoes and carrots.
  3. Separate the yolks from the whites and also rub, but separately.
  4. Drain the liquid from the can, and knead the sardines with a fork.
  5. Cut the onion very finely.
  6. Spread the prepared ingredients in layers - potatoes, carrots, fish, onions, protein. Grease each layer with mayonnaise. You can use a culinary cylindrical shape to make the salad neat.
  7. On top of the salad "Mimosa" sprinkle with grated egg yolk, cool for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
