Next time you cook potatoes, remember that they are good for more than just good old traditional dishes. Make a filling savory salad with crispy slices of toasted bacon.

This potato salad can be served as a stand-alone dish or garnished with meat or fish. Its balanced taste with a spicy lemon note will blow your mind!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes, put them into a pot, fill with water and boil until ready.
  2. While the potatoes are being boiled, prepare the dressing. Mix olive oil with lemon juice in a deep bowl. Once the potatoes are ready, drain the water. Put the potatoes onto a plate and add the dressing. Sprinkle with sea salt and black ground pepper.
  3. Put the pan with a thick bottom over the fire, pour a small amount of olive oil, and spread out the bacon. Fry over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side. Put the cooked bacon on a paper towel to drain excess fat.
  4. Add sour cream, green onions, and lemon peel to the potatoes. Put bacon on top and serve it to the table.
  5. Serve the salad warm, since it tastes and smells best this way. Enjoy!
