All the ingredients for this simple but tasty and festive salad are available and it takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare. Crackers can be prepared independently from a white loaf or bought ready-made in the store. All ingredients are laid out in layers and flavored with mayonnaise.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash and dry tomatoes and green onions. Peel the garlic.
  2. Pass the garlic through a press or grate on a fine grater. Finely chop the green onion feathers (without the white part of the stem).
  3. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. It is better to use non-watery tomatoes or discard them after cutting into a sieve to drain excess liquid.
  4. Put half of the chopped tomatoes in a salad bowl, evenly distributing them along the bottom.
  5. Spread a third of the green onion, half of the garlic on top. Salt and pepper the tomatoes.
  6. Top with a thin mesh of mayonnaise. To make it convenient to do this, I put the sauce in a plastic bag and cut off a small corner, I got a culinary envelope.
  7. Grate the cheese on a small or medium grater. Spread half of the cheese in the next layer. Try not to press this layer to make the salad airy. Top with mayonnaise.
  8. Repeat layers - diced tomatoes, green onions (reserve a little for garnish), remaining garlic, salt, pepper and cheese. Top with mayonnaise.
  9. Spread the croutons around the edge of the plate, garnish the salad with the remaining green onions.
  10. Salad with tomatoes, cheese, croutons and green onions is ready. To improve the taste, I recommend chilling the salad for 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving, but this can not be done.
  11. A very tasty combination of crispy crackers, juicy tomatoes and tender cheese makes this salad festive and original.
  12. Bon appetit!
