If you decide to come up with something new for the festive table, but with the usual taste and composition, I want to offer you an interesting option - Mimosa snack waffle cake with canned fish, carrots and cheese. The taste of the cake is a bit like a well-known salad, but it turns out to be more nutritious thanks to waffle cakes. Incredibly tasty, tender, hearty and very beautiful snack cake.

  1. Put carrots and eggs in a saucepan, pour cold water and put on fire. Boil eggs for 10 minutes after boiling, carrots - 30 minutes. Cool eggs in cold water. Remove the carrots from the broth and cool.
  2. After a while, peel the carrots and grate on a fine grater.
  3. Also grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  4. Open canned food, drain liquid. Transfer the fish to a bowl and mash with a fork.
  5. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes, add to the fish and mix.
  6. Peel the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a medium grater. Leave the yolks aside
  7. Prepare waffle cakes. I have cakes measuring 15x25 cm. Lubricate the first cake with mayonnaise on both sides and put it on a dish. Spread the fish with onions on top of the cake.
  8. Lubricate the next cake with mayonnaise, lay on the fish. Spread half of the cheese over the crust.
  9. Cover the cheese layer with the next cake, grease with mayonnaise. Spread half of the carrots on top.
  10. Put the cake again and grease with mayonnaise.
  11. Then spread all the egg whites over the surface.
  12. Repeat all layers again - fish, cheese, carrots.
  13. Cover the carrots with the last cake, grease with mayonnaise. Finely grate the egg yolks on top.
  14. Finely chop the dill. Grease the sides of the cake with mayonnaise, sprinkle with chopped dill.
  15. Send the cake to the refrigerator for 1-2 hours so that it soaks.

  17. You can serve the cake to the table on one dish or cut it into portions.
