Squid salad with mushrooms

Squid salad, along with mushrooms, acquired a completely different taste. For piquancy, add pickled cucumbers and a little garlic to the salad. It turns out a delicious, satisfying and healthy salad with squid

  1. Wash the squids under running water. We throw them into a pot of boiling (and salted) water. You should not cook squids for a long time, otherwise they will turn out tough and tasteless. Cook no longer than 3 minutes. Then, having caught the squids from boiling water, we throw them into a bowl of cold water.
  2. After cooling the squids in cold water, thoroughly wash them under running water. We clean the film from them, remove the chitin plate from the internal cavity of the carcass.
  3. We cut the boiled and peeled squid carcasses into thin rings. Cut the rings into strips.
  4. Hard boil chicken eggs. After cooling the boiled eggs in cold water and peeling, cut into slices.
  5. Cut the pickled cucumbers lengthwise into thin slices, and cut the slices across into strips. If the pickled cucumber is large, with a hard skin, then it should be peeled. Small pickled cucumbers do not need to be peeled.
  6. We send slices of pickled cucumbers to chopped squid and chopped eggs.
  7. Wash the champignons, peel, cut into slices along the mushroom. You can leave it like that, or you can cut these slices in half again. This will depend on the size of the mushrooms.
  8. Prepare the onion: peel, wash and chop it as you like.
  9. Saute mushrooms with onions in butter. At the end, add salt and pepper.
  10. Put the fried mushrooms with onions to the rest of the ingredients, mix.
  11. We prepare dressing for squid salad with mushrooms and pickled cucumbers: cut finely or pass a small clove of garlic through a garlic press and, mixing it with mayonnaise, dress the salad.
  12. Put washed lettuce leaves in a salad bowl. (If you haven’t bought lettuce leaves, then without them you can put a slide of squid salad in a salad bowl.)
  13. We spread the squid salad on lettuce leaves in a slide, decorate to your liking.
