Batter-fried shrimps

To quickly and deliciously prepare a king prawn appetizer, you just need to dip them in a simple batter and deep-fry them.

  1. In a large bowl, lightly beat the egg and water, add flour and cayenne pepper, stir until smooth.
  2. Peel the shrimp, leaving the tails. Remove the black streak on the back.
  3. In a large deep skillet or deep fryer, heat the oil until a piece of bread thrown into the butter turns a dark golden brown in 1 minute.
  4. Take one shrimp by the tail, dip it in the dough, shake off the excess and put the shrimp in hot oil. Do the same with the rest of the shrimp, fry for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Place the fried shrimp on a paper towel to drain off the fat. Serve with prawns and parsley and lemon wedges.
