Cookie tree

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rub the butter with cinnamon and sugar.
  2. Add egg, flour and knead the dough. Shape into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the chilled dough with a 0.5 cm thick cake, sprinkle with flour. Cut out snowflake or star shapes in various sizes.
  4. Arrange the figurines on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 13 minutes. Then cool.
  5. For the frosting, beat the cold egg white and lemon juice into stiff peaks. Add powdered sugar and stir. I bought a bag of white icing from the store and cooked it according to the instructions. Then I added green food coloring to the glaze.
  6. Collect the tree. To do this, in order of decreasing size, put snowflakes (stars) from cookies on top of each other in a checkerboard pattern, gluing them with icing.
  7. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate as you wish.
  8. Happy tea!
