Fried shrimps with onions and garlic

  1. Boil 0.5 liters of water in a saucepan, add salt. Dip the shrimp in boiling salted water, wait until it boils again and remove from heat.
  2. Place the shrimp on a sieve and rinse with ice water.
  3. Peel the shells of the shrimp, remove the heads and legs. I left the ponytails for an aesthetic look.
  4. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
  5. Peel and chop the garlic.
  6. Rinse the green onion feathers and cut diagonally into 0.3-0.5 mm pieces.
  7. Cut half the lemon into slices. Cut off one slice of lemon in order to pour the fried shrimp with juice in the future.
  8. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the onions and garlic over the heat slightly above medium for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. Add shrimp.
  10. Stir and fry for 4-5 minutes.
  11. Add apple cider vinegar or dry white wine, soy sauce and ground ginger to the shrimp.
  12. Stir and simmer for another minute.
  13. Before serving, place the fried shrimp with onion and garlic in soy sauce on a serving dish, sprinkle with green onions, drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with lemon slices.
