Experiment with shrimp, enrich your cooking knowledge and delight your household. Today's recipe is batter-fried king prawns.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. It is better to choose large shrimps for this dish, for example, king ones.
  2. Boil lightly salted water and dip the shrimps into it for a couple of minutes.
  3. Take out the shrimps, cool. Then we clean it by removing them from the shell. Please note that the tail of the shrimp must remain.
  4. For batter, combine egg, milk, nutmeg, salt and flour.
  5. We mix. The batter dough should be similar to pancake dough and should not be too runny.
  6. Heat a sufficient amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan (the amount of oil depends on the diameter of the frying pan).
  7. Each shrimp, holding by the tail, is dipped in batter.
  8. Then we transfer it to a preheated frying pan with butter.
  9. Fry on both sides until golden crisp.
  10. We serve shrimps to the table.
  11. We recommend serving the appetizer with lemon wedges.
  12. Bon Appetit!
