Potatoes stewed with shrimps in a spicy tomato sauce

For this dish, boiled peeled shrimps and young potatoes are used, you just need to boil the potatoes and stew for a couple of minutes with shrimps in sauce.

Ingredients

• Young potatoes (peeled) - 680 g
• Boiled shrimps (peeled) - 300 g
• Fresh cilantro (leaves only) - 1/2 cup
• Spicy tomato sauce - 350 g

Directions

1. If the shrimp are frozen, then it is necessary to thaw them.
2. Boil the potatoes in slightly salted water until half cooked, for about 15 minutes. Drain the boiled potatoes and put back in the pot.
3. Add half chopped cilantro, tomato sauce and 6 tablespoons of water to a pot with potatoes. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, cover the saucepan and simmer the potatoes for about 5 minutes, until tender.
4. Add shrimps to a saucepan, cook stewed potatoes with shrimps for a couple of minutes, just so that they are well warmed up, but not overcooked.
5. Serve the shrimp potato stew in portioned bowls, sprinkle with the remaining cilantro.
