We offer to prepare an excellent snack based on Japanese cuisine - filled rice balls, fried in batter. If you like rolls, sushi, but you are already tired of them, then such rice balls with shrimps and curd cheese will add variety to your menu.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees. Grease a 1.2 liter ovenproof dish (or several portion molds).
  2. Cut the fish fillet into cubes.
  3. In a large saucepan, bring the fish stock to a boil, place the fish in it, reduce heat and cook the fish for about 2 minutes (do not overcook).
  4. Remove the fish from the pan with a slotted spoon and transfer to the prepared dish. Season the fish with salt and pepper, cover the dish to keep the fish warm.
  5. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pour flour into the pan, stir, cook for about 2 minutes.
  6. While stirring, add 2 cups of fish broth to the pan. Add wine to the pan, cook, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes, then add the cream. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 1 minute.
  7. Remove the pan from the stove, add almost all the crushed cheese (leave about 3 tablespoons for powder). Add shrimps and 1 tablespoon of parsley to the sauce, pour this sauce over the fish in a mold, sprinkle with the reserved cheese on top.
  8. Place the fish dish in a preheated oven, bake for about 10-15 minutes, until golden brown on top. Sprinkle parsley over the finished dish and serve immediately. Serve the fish baked with shrimps and rustic bread (optional).
