Rice with shrimps and green peas

Rice is boiled separately, then mixed with fried shrimp, green peas and spices. A quick and delicious dinner is ready in 20 minutes.

  1. Boil the rice in water until tender, according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Put the shrimps in a preheated pan and fry for about 2 minutes. Then add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Transfer the shrimp to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil, add green peas, cover and cook for about 2 minutes. Add rice, shrimp, vinegar, salt, pepper and turmeric to a frying pan, heat the rice with shrimp for about 1 minute.
  4. Sprinkle parsley on cooked shrimp rice.
