In a bowl, combine lime juice, fish sauce and sugar. Set aside.
Heat a wok or other large frying pan over high heat, grease with vegetable oil. Place the shallots, garlic and pepper in a preheated pan and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 30 seconds.
Put the shrimps in a frying pan, fry for about 3 minutes, until the latter are cooked. Then add corn kernels, cook for about 1 minute. Add a mixture of lime, fish sauce and sugar to the pan and stir. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve immediately.
