Delicious homemade pizza with soft and airy yeast dough. I suggest making pizza with white sauce, and not with tomato sauce, as we are all used to. White sauce is in perfect harmony with seafood and mushrooms, turning a familiar pizza into an original dish. When baking pizza in the oven at home, we will try to get as close as possible to the conditions of a real oven. The heart-shaped pizza is perfect for a romantic dinner.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For dough, mix warm water with dry yeast, sugar and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour. Leave the dough for 10-15 minutes, until foam appears on top.
  2. Add salt and vegetable oil to the dough. Sift flour in parts, kneading soft and elastic dough.
  3. Knead the dough with your hands on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes. In order not to clog the dough with flour, during the kneading process, hands and dough can be greased with vegetable oil.
  4. Put the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with cling film and leave to warm for 1 hour.
  5. Melt the butter for the sauce. Add flour to the butter and fry over low heat for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Pour in milk slowly, stirring vigorously, so that no lumps form. Stirring constantly, cook the sauce until thickened.
  7. Add salt, nutmeg, finely grated garlic and black pepper to the sauce.
  8. Transfer the prepared sauce to a bowl so that it cools faster, and cover with cling film "in contact" so that it does not wind up.
  9. Grate or finely chop hard cheese and mozzarella. For pizza with seafood, cut the squid into rings, peel the shrimp. For the second pizza, cut the tomatoes into slices, cut the mushrooms into slices, and cut the hearts out of the sausage using cookie cutters.
  10. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Form a pizza base (round or heart-shaped) on the parchment with your hands, dusting the dough with flour if necessary. Form the sides with your hands.
  11. Lightly grease the dough with vegetable oil so that it does not get soaked from the filling and sauce. Then put the prepared sauce on the pizza base and distribute evenly. Top with cheese and filling.
  12. First, preheat the oven to the maximum temperature by turning on the top and bottom heating. You can also turn on the top grill and convection, if available. Bake yeast pizza on the lowest level of the oven.
  13. In my oven, the pizza was baked for 7 minutes.
  14. Yeast pizza "Heart" with white sauce is ready. Before serving, sprinkle the seafood pizza with fresh herbs (I have arugula).
  15. Pizza cutaway.
