Shrimp are delicious with Thai green curry sauce, which you can buy at the store, but you can quickly and easily prepare your own using this recipe.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Use a food processor to chop the ginger, add ¾ cup nuts, and grind for another 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add yogurt, cilantro, sugar, curry, salt. Mix foods for 1-2 minutes. Transfer the sauce to a small plate and sprinkle with the remaining cashews.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp. l. butter in a non-stick skillet. Put half of the shrimp, cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining butter and the other half of the shrimp. Serve the fried shrimp with the cooked sauce.
  4. If desired, serve carrot and sesame salad with the shrimps. To prepare it, mix 5-6 carrots, grated on a coarse grater, in a bowl, 2 tbsp. l. sesame seeds, 1-2 tbsp. l. rice vinegar, 1 tbsp. l. fried sesame oil, 2 tbsp. l. chopped ginger (a piece about 2.5 cm in size); salt, pepper and stir.
